Nature follows a plan that makes it efficient and sustainable. Timber construction projects follow work plans and construction details that enable efficient production and assembly processes. This results in sustainable and safe buildings in which people feel comfortable.

In Zug, we will soon be building the tallest timber high-rise in Switzerland (at over 80 meters) - and in the locomotive town of Winterthur, we are currently building the largest timber construction residential projects in the country.

You are responsible for the interfaces to production and logistics. Your plans are the starting point for all construction processes. As the central point of contact for our teams in production and assembly and as the right-hand man of the site manager, you are, figuratively speaking, a supporting element on the construction site.

These tasks await you:

• Creation of work plans and construction drawings in CADwork 3D with mass extract lists
• Preparation of production plans with development of machine data for CNC joinery (CAD-CAM interface)
• Creation of workflow plans and material lists for project teams and production
• Project-related planning of production and delivery logistics

We are looking for this training and experience:

• Training as a carpenter or technical draftsman/designer
• At least 3-5 years of professional experience in CAD design/planning
• Very good design skills and ability to independently develop design solutions in timber construction
• Sound knowledge of Swiss building law
• Good communication skills and entrepreneurial thinking
• Good user knowledge of the MS Office suite
