K2D Skøyen – Vækerø
Short description
Implenia has been awarded the contract for section K2D Skøyen - Vækerø, which is part of the entire Fornebu line that will be completed in 2030. The contract is a continuation of an ongoing tunnel contract for the Fornebu line between Lysaker and Fornebu, section K2A.
The project
The K2D project, which is part of Fornebubanen, consists of a subway station in Skøyen and an approximately 1.8 km long two-way tunnel under a densely populated area. The K2D project also includes an escape tunnel in Bestum and is the penultimate of the major contracts for the huge Fornebubanen infrastructure project. Work on K2D is expected to start in 2023 and be completed in 2025.
