Conversion and total refurbishment of a 5-star hotel as general contractor from partial demolition to handover of keys.

The project

Grand Hotel Park SA has commissioned Implenia to renovate and refurbish the hotel, which opened its doors in 1910 as Gstaad's first 5-star hotel. Implenia is the general contractor responsible for the "core & shell" work and for coordinating the carpentry work.

Following the renovation, The Park Gstaad, A Four Seasons Hotel, will reopen with 51 guest rooms, 18 suites, and 6 penthouses for sale - and will feature seven restaurants and lounges, as well as a wellness area that includes, among other amenities, an indoor pool and an outdoor pool.

Implenia was able to advise the client in the early stages of the project, demonstrating its added value as general contractor.Demolition work began in October 2024, and the hotel is scheduled to reopen as The Park Gstaad, A Four Seasons Hotel in the summer of 2027.

Further information
