Implenia receives platinum certificate according to SNBS 2.0 for "sinergia" project

With an overall score of 5.7, Implenia has received the highest rating in the his-tory of certification and sets new standards for sustainability in building construction

In 2014, Implenia secured the general planer mandate for the new "sinergia" cantonal administration centre in Chur. Implenia completed the construction for the canton of Graubünden between 2016 and 2020. The new administrative centre with 440 modern workplaces is part of a cantonal real estate strategy that aims to create a total of nine strong regional centres spread across the entire canton.

"sinergia" is also impressive in terms of energy, as it fully complies with the Minergie-P-Eco® standard and the "2000-Watt Site" certification, which guarantees proof of the sustainable use of resources and emissions for the construction and operation of the building, as well as for future-oriented everyday mobility depending on the location. In addition, the project received the highest sustainability rating with the award of SNBS Platinum certification and a top rating of 5.7, which is unique in Switzerland. The Swiss Sustainable Building Standard 2.0 (SNBS 2.0) is based on the federal government's sustainability strategy and has been maintained and further developed by the Sustainable Building Switzerland Network NNBS since 2013. Implenia is a founding member of the NNBS and has also been represented on the Board Committee since the beginning.
