Health & Safety Day: Make it work. Safely!

Health and safety are top priorities at Implenia. The group-wide action day serves as a reminder of this.

Safety does not happen by itself. It arises when we create the conditions necessary for work to be carried out safely. At the annual Group-wide Health & Safety Day, the entire Implenia team makes a point of setting aside time to discuss what health and safety mean in their day-to-day work and what could be improved.

In 2026, the event kicked off with a video message from the Executive Board. It emphasises the importance of leadership in fostering a strong safety culture and demonstrates why health and safety at work can only be sustainably embedded if managers and employees take joint responsibility. 

Many teams take the opportunity to organise additional activities such as first-aid courses, fire drills or group sports sessions. 

Through its Health & Safety Day, Implenia makes an important contribution to achieving its sustainability goals. The focus is on reducing serious accidents and fostering a proactive safety culture in which managers take responsibility, act as role models and work together with staff to create safe working conditions.
