Novaled Technical Center
Short description
In Dresden, Implenia transformed the Alte Mühle, a historic building under preservation, into a prestigious office building and constructed the new Technikum, which includes a research area, clean rooms, and laboratories.
The project
Between Elisabeth-Boer-Straße and Königsbrücker Straße, the Leipzig branch of Novaled constructed a turnkey office and research building and converted the existing historic building into an office building. As part of this project, the Alte Mühle, a listed historic building, was revitalized. The new building is a 110-meter-long technical center featuring a state-of-the-art research area, ISO 5 and ISO 7 cleanrooms, and laboratories.
Services in detail
The ground floor of the existing building houses a cafeteria, while the upper floors primarily contain office spaces, conference rooms, and ancillary rooms.
To connect to the newly planned technical center, a single-story connecting structure was built between the two building complexes. This serves as the main entrance and houses the reception area, front desk, and changing rooms.
The technical center is accessed through the changing room area. The ground floor houses the ISO 7 and ISO 5 cleanroom areas, the laboratory areas, as well as receiving, shipping, and storage facilities. The technical area for water treatment and power supply is also located here.
