WEKO investigates suspected anti-competitive agreements in the See-Gaster region (Canton St. Gallen)

Dietlikon, 16 April 2013 – On 15 April 2013 the Swiss Competition Commission opened an investigation into suspected anti-competitive agreements in Canton St. Gallen, and especially in the See-Gaster region and neighbouring areas. The investigation in particular concerns the markets for road construction, civil works and surfacing. Implenia is cooperating fully with the competition authorities to clarify the facts of the matter. Implenia is committed to free and unhindered competition and has a zero tolerance policy on infringements. This principle is enshrined in Implenia's internal Code of Conduct, which every employee must sign and which is the subject of annual training.
