Payment for work on Hardau Car Park: Supreme Court backs Implenia’s claim

Dietlikon, 3 December 2015 – In the case about outstanding payments for construction of the Hardau car park, Zurich’s High Court ruled in favour of Implenia in March 2015 and ordered the City of Zurich to pay around CHF 250,000. Switzerland’s Federal Supreme Court has now made a final decision that the City of Zurich must pay for the changes it made to its order for the the Hardau car park, as already acknowledged by the lower courts. However the case is being passed back to Zurich's High Court to clarify the formal question of whether it is permissible to offset the payments from the Hardau car park – now confirmed by the Supreme Court – against the claims asserted by the city for the Letzigrund Stadium.
