Lysbüchel School Building in Basel, 2020–2022
When, together with nearly 30 employees, we had the opportunity to convert an old large-scale bakery into a school building within two years. A particularly memorable moment was the installation of the ceiling elements (20 PI ceilings, 22 meters long, 3 meters wide). As part of the addition, a new auditorium was created within the expanded section of the building, as well as a playground on the building’s rooftop. A total of 2,500 metric tons of FT elements were installed on the facade, the addition, and the new upper level.
