Implenia sells its stake in Gravière de la Claie-aux-Moines SA

Implenia is selling its stake in Gravière de la Claie-aux-Moines (GCM) SA. This is the latest move in Implenia’s effort to focus on its defined core portfolio and implement an asset-light strategy.

Glattpark (Opfikon), 23 December 2021 – Implenia is selling its 66.67% stake in GCM SA to the existing shareholder Walo Bertschinger SA Romandie as well as to Vigier Holding AG and H 2 M Participations SA. GCM SA is a leading concrete manufacturer in the Lausanne region, where it also operates a gravel plant. Walo Bertschinger SA Romandie already owned 33.3% of GCM SA and will continue to hold a minority stake.

The sale agreement was signed end of last week by representatives of all parties. Implenia's operational responsibility ended yesterday with the closing of the transaction. Financial details of the transaction are not being disclosed. The transaction has no impact on GCM SA employees.

Implenia is selling its stake in GCM SA to appropriate owners in order to focus more on its defined core portfolio and advance its asset-light strategy. The Group is concentrating on integrated construction and real estate services in Switzerland and Germany, as well as on tunnelling and related infrastructure projects in other markets.
