Bridge building - innovative architecture
Our successfully completed projects include the Sunniberg Bridge in Klosters, the Poya Bridge in Fribourg and the new Aare Bridge ("Chain Bridge") in Aarau. Building a bridge is a challenge in every respect, and in times of overloaded infrastructures, this challenge is not getting any smaller. All the more impressive are the modern infrastructure structures to which we have already been able to make a decisive contribution in countless projects with our many years of experience and our specific expertise.
Teaching scaffolding
Temporary auxiliary support measures and shoring are essential for modern bridge construction and the maintenance of our infrastructure.
For example, temporary shoring is used in the construction of arch and beam bridges to support the formwork during the concreting process. Our firm's own falsework system enables us to create and optimally use such support structures flexibly and in line with the specific requirements of the project. A combination with simple conventional profile beams is also possible without any problems.

As experts in bridge construction, the use of classic building materials such as concrete, prestressed concrete, steel or steel composite is part of our everyday work. This does not prevent us from relying on innovative construction materials such as ultra-high-performance fiber-reinforced concrete (UHPC) in addition to the tried-and-tested classics in order to implement even the most demanding projects to the complete satisfaction of our customers.

Intermittent pusher construction/feed scaffolding
Where the ordinary reaches its limits, innovation begins for us. To ensure the success of your project, we use special technologies such as the incremental launching method and mobile shoring.
Topographical, economic or subsoil-related aspects and nature conservation requirements do not always permit complete scaffolding for the construction of a superstructure. In this case, we rely on alternative methods and construct the superstructure of the bridge using, for example, a mobile shoring frame with integrated formwork. Or our construction experts use the incremental launching method, in which large presses position the bridge deck in stages until it reaches the desired alignment.

Cantilever construction
The cantilever technique is probably the most spectacular method of bridge construction. It is used when conventional construction methods on shoring or launching scaffolding reach the limits of what is technically and economically feasible.
Using the cantilever technique, we cross wide rivers and deep valleys, defying the supposed hurdles of many a mammoth project. Behind this method lies the static principle of the balance beam, which makes the use of falsework completely superfluous.
