Renergia waste incineration plant
Short description
Renergia in Perlen (LU) is a modern and environmentally friendly waste incineration plant.
The project
Renergia is responsible for the recycling of Central Switzerland's waste and is also a power plant that supplies Perlen Papier AG with process steam, provides hot water for several district heating lines and produces electricity for thousands of households. Thanks to the latest technology and the use of waste heat by Perlen Papier AG, exemplary energy efficiency can be achieved. The realization of the Renergia project is a joint effort by all waste disposal associations in Central Switzerland and Perlen Papier AG.
