The project
Some of the construction work is being carried out in parallel so that customers can benefit from ecological and sustainable district heating as quickly as possible. In addition, ewb is renovating the water, gas and electrical lines as well as the associated network connections, hydrants and transformer stations. The city of Berne is also renovating the public wastewater pipes in certain areas - in coordination with the work being carried out by ewb. If you need to renew a network connection, you will be contacted by ewb in a separate letter. The street lighting will be equipped with modern and environmentally friendly LED technology.
