Short description
Conversion and total refurbishment of a 5-star hotel as general contractor from demolition to handover of keys.
The project
Grand Hotel Park SA has commissioned Implenia to renovate and refurbish the hotel, which opened its doors in 1910 as Gstaad's first 5-star hotel. Implenia is the general contractor responsible for the "core & shell" work and for coordinating the carpentry work.
Following the renovation, the Park Gstaad, A Four Seasons Hotel, will reopen with 75 rooms and suites, two restaurants, a spa and a wellness area.
Implenia was able to advise the client in the early stages of the project, demonstrating its added value as general contractor. Construction of the real estate development led by Squircle Capital started in October 2024 and the hotel is scheduled to open in new splendor as The Park Gstaad, A Four Seasons Hotel, for the 2026/2027 winter season.
