Reversing / backing up with vehicles
The law is clear: when reversing, it must be ensured that nobody is in the danger zone. In many places, the opinion prevails that a camera is a generally valid solution to this problem. However, this is not true. Each situation is individual and must be analysed separately. This results in measures that need to be implemented and tested for their effectiveness.
The simplest solution is, of course, to avoid reversing altogether. What is often seen as unavoidable turns out to be at least partially feasible with good planning, but also on closer inspection during operation.
The topic is a perennial favourite and it is more than justified to devote more attention to it.
