In addition to specialist knowledge and experience, a timber construction project also requires patience and sensitivity for the peculiarities of a project. Because each one is unique.

It requires an overview and inner calm in hectic times and a feeling for the complex processes involved in timber construction projects, which ultimately come together to form an impressive building. In Zug, we will soon be creating the tallest timber high-rise in Switzerland (at over 80 meters) - and in the locomotive town of Winterthur, we are currently building the largest timber construction residential projectsin the country.

You will be responsible for the successful implementation of other timber construction projects, from planning to execution and handover.

These tasks await you:

• Management and coordination of challenging projects in structural timber engineering and timber element construction
• Responsibility for the quality and timely execution of projects - together with the teams
• Independent management of contract award negotiations and ensuring project realization within the target budgets
• Central point of contact for customers, clients, external subcontractors and specialists
• Technical and commercial coordination of all project participants from planning to production and installation
• Support in the areas of acquisition and project development, ensuring a successful transition to the execution phase.

We are looking for this training and experience:

• Apprenticeship as a carpenter and technician HF timber construction or timber construction master craftsman or foreman or also construction or timber construction engineer with a background in timber construction
• CAD Cadwork 3D training
• At least 5 years of professional experience as a construction supervisor
• Experience in the calculation of timber construction projects
• Experience in multi-storey timber construction and timber engineering
• Sound knowledge of Swiss building law
• Good communication skills
• Very good user knowledge of the MS Office suite
• Entrepreneurial thinking and management experience
• Languages: German (French or English an advantage)
