In Zug, we will soon be building the tallest timber high-rise in Switzerland (at over 80 meters) - and in the locomotive town of Winterthur, we are currently building the largest timber construction residential projectsin the country.

You will be responsible for the successful planning and execution of timber construction projects in collaboration with the teams and project management.

These tasks await you:

• Management of challenging projects in structural timber engineering and timber element construction from planning and production to handover.
• Responsibility for the quality and timely execution of projects within the agreed budgets
• Optimization of execution solutions in factory planning with regard to material, fabrication and assembly
• Contact person for the client and coordination of all subcontractors and specialists involved in the project
• Managing the allocated project resources and monitoring their efficient use
• Controlling and monitoring project execution in compliance with Group guidelines and legal requirements
• Preparation of production and assembly documents and schedules
• Conducting contract award negotiations together with project management and purchasing

We are looking for this training and experience:

• Apprenticeship as a carpenter and foreman training or technician HF or timber construction/construction engineer
• Professional experience as a carpenter or foreman
• Experience in the construction of timber construction projects
• Knowledge of CAD planning
• Several years of experience in the construction management of timber construction projects (technical and commercial project management)
• Sound knowledge of Swiss building law
• Good communication skills and entrepreneurial thinking
• Good user knowledge of the MS Office suite
• Professional management experience (senior construction management)
