Leading Role in Transformation
Strategy & Network
At Implenia, sustainability is a core element of our business activities and guiding principle. Our comprehensive efforts to actively shape the transformation towards a sustainable construction and real estate industry are recognised by leading ESG ratings. These recognitions underline our role as a pioneer in sustainable value creation.
SUSTAINABILITY STRATEGY
Sustainability has been firmly embedded in Implenia’s culture as part of its guiding principles since 2009. Our ambition is to approach sustainability holistically and to assume a leading role across the three dimensions of environmental, social and economic sustainability. Together with leading networks and organisations, we work to implement innovative solutions for a responsible and future-oriented construction and real estate industry.
Our sustainability strategy is based on clear principles, transparent and operationalised targets, and an effective sustainability management system. Sustainable development must be implemented across all business units and actively lived throughout the entire organisation. It is a cross-cutting responsibility that affects all business activities and requires the commitment of employees at every level of the company.
The following timeline shows the most important milestones achieved over the years.
