The primary school center "Elisabetha Hess" is the first school center in the canton of Thurgau with Minergie-A certification.
The project
The new building includes the primary school centre and a gymnasium with outdoor sports fields. The school building has 9 classrooms, 3 textile/work rooms, a multi-purpose room with stage equipment, a day school structure and a gymnasium with outdoor facilities. The entire complex is terraced.
Challenges
Slope with very poor building ground. The buildings and squares had to be built on piles.
