PPE Rhône11, Aigle VD
Short description
Ateliers Jean-Jaques Gippa have moved from Rue du Rhône to the Les Artisans industrial estate in Aigle. The demolition of the old buildings made the second phase of the project, which began ten years ago, possible. PPE Rue du Rhône is the second phase of the project, which was launched in 2004. Implenia, then still Zschokke, was already responsible for the first project called Résidences du Rhône.
The project
Located in the heart of the town of Aigle, just a stone's throw from the train station and the stores of the pedestrian-friendly town center, this second stage of construction is based on the first and offers a first floor for administrative offices and floors for sale as condominiums. The project is colorful and offers different roof shapes and a top floor with three different heights.
Services in detail
The gendarmerie occupies the first floor. It is raised by four storeys and the attic, which accommodates a large apartment. A total of eighteen condominiums were offered for sale. There are five 2.5-room, ten 3.5-room and three 4.5-room apartments as well as three doctors' surgeries, two of which were created by merging two apartments. The building was constructed using traditional methods. Nine geothermal probes were drilled at a depth of one hundred meters to heat the building in winter and cool it in summer. A special feature due to the client's desire to protect the environment, as he specializes in heating systems.
