Sustainability
The Green Village in the city of Grand-Saconnex is the first real estate project in Geneva (and one of three pilot projects in Switzerland) that follows the principles of One Planet Living ®.
The environmental vision for the project focuses on maximizing green spaces. In developing the site, special attention was paid to energy efficiency and environmental aspects by incorporating the latest developments in this field into the design. To meet the very high energy efficiency standards of the Canton of Geneva, the buildings will be very energy efficient and powered by 100 percent renewable energy, from eothermal sensors, solar panels and interconnected energy (micro-grid), resulting in a zero carbon footprint.
