Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Intern - 6-Month Internship

Responsibilities 

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accurate data compilation and presentation for management review.
  • Support the FP&A team in monitoring and managing cost centers, performing variance analyses, and assisting in the development of corrective action plans.
  • Participate in the annual budgeting and forecasting processes by gathering and analyzing data based on strategic and operational objectives.
  • Help prepare financial models and perform ad-hoc analyses to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of FP&A processes and internal projects by assisting with data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with various departments to collect relevant financial data and ensure alignment with overall financial goals.

Qualifications 

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Controlling, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (especially Excel and PowerPoint); familiarity with SAP FI/AC and BI tools is an advantage.
  • Basic understanding of financial principles, IFRS, and Swiss Code of Obligations (OR) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills, with a solution-oriented and independent work ethic.
  • Reliable, flexible, and team-oriented personality, with the ability to handle tasks with a high level of accuracy.
  • Good command of German and English
  • Eagerness to learn and develop skills in a dynamic, professional environment.
