Reilshof
Short description
Careful restoration in keeping with the historical aesthetic, with a special focus on economic and energy sustainability.
The project
The Reilshof residential building in Halle (Saale), which dates back to 1936, was given a full renovation on the instruction of the Halle housing association . The branch responsible for the project has many years of experience with construction projects involving existing buildings, meaning that it was able to provide the client with a property that had been optimised in every possible way – all in just eleven months.
The renovation of this listed residential building involved replacing the windows and overhauling all of the building technology, which included optimising the heating supply. The entire outer shell was also insulated so as to reduce the energy consumption. The end result: functional and aesthetically pleasing renovation and modernisation of the building, with sustainable optimisations from an economical and ecological standpoint.
