Wohnquartier Kärtnerviertel

Short description

Modern, sustainable, close to the city: regular customer commissions the turnkey construction of several new building sections in the new city quarter in Wiesbaden Biebrich.

The project

Implenia has been commissioned by GWW Wiesbadener Wohnbaugesellschaft to build turnkey apartment buildings in the Kärntner Viertel in a total of five construction phases, as well as underground parking garages, parking spaces and outdoor facilities.

Construction phases 1 and 2: eleven apartment buildings with 161 residential units and above-ground parking spaces.

Construction phase 4: two apartment buildings with 32 apartments and underground parking

Construction phases 7 and 8: eight apartment buildings with 101 apartments and underground parking

Services in detail

On the 150 m high elevation in the Biebrich district to the southwest, 1- to 4-room apartments ranging from 41 to 96 m² will be built in several construction phases, some barrier-free, some as subsidized rental housing. All apartments have spacious terraces or balconies. Some of the ground-floor apartments in the apartment buildings have private gardens. The properties will be embedded in spacious green areas.

Sustainability

The district is connected to Wiesbaden's local heating network. With green roofs and PV systems as well as an environmentally friendly heat supply using biogas CHP and district heating, they meet a high energy efficiency standard. Meeting and communication areas for residents and visitors will be created in the car-free outdoor areas, which are interspersed with green spaces, and two playgrounds will be set up.

The district, which is close to the city center, is well connected to the cycle path network and public transport. In addition, there will be bike and car-sharing services as well as a large number of charging stations for electric mobility in both private and public spaces.
