Two innovation awards for Implenia
Dietlikon, 17 August 2018 – The German Property Federation (Zentraler Immobilien Ausschuss, ZIA) has just published its second Innovation Report for the real estate industry. Implenia is the only company to be mentioned twice, receiving two separate awards for its customer-focused digital solutions. The report, which highlights best practice innovations from all parts of the real estate industry, is described by federation president Andreas Mattner as “a trend-setter for the approximately 800,000 companies that make up the real estate industry”.
An interdisciplinary jury gave one award to Implenia for the apartment configuration app that its BIM experts developed for the major “Wolkenwerk” project in Zurich. The jury liked the way the app made consistent use of the advantages of BIM-based digital project work, and appreciated the concrete benefits of the tool for various stakeholders. The jury also gave an award for Implenia’s solution for virtual property tours: Implenia VR. It praised the solution for its systematic use of new technologies and for the virtualisation of content with direct customer interaction. Both Implenia solutions are certain to attract more attention as the digitalisation of the real estate industry continues.
“Implenia is very interested in digitalisation as it applies to construction data modelling. We focus on customer-oriented solutions, and the awards show that we are managing to produce these effectively,” says Dr. Matthias Jacob, Head of Business Unit Implenia Buildings Germany, who also has Group-wide responsibility for BIM.
