Transaction complete: Bilfinger Hochbau’s activities now part of Implenia
Dietlikon, 3 March 2017 – Following completion of the purchase transaction, the activities acquired from Bilfinger Hochbau have today become part of the Implenia Group. The acquisition, announced at the end of December 2016, has been approved by all the relevant competition authorities. Bilfinger Hochbau generated production output of around EUR 450 million in 2016 and has approximately 1,000 employees. An internal, multidisciplinary team is working to integrate the new units into existing processes and structures as quickly as possible. The acquisition marks another step forward in Implenia’s internationalisation, and gives the Group critical mass in Europe’s largest construction market.
