Success for Implenia in Geneva – Major order won thanks to “One Company” strategy

Construction project worth around CHF 300 million in total

Dietlikon, 20 June 2017 – Implenia has won a major new order in Geneva. Working as total contractor, it is building a project worth around CHF 300 million in total for real estate company Swiss Prime Site. The contract was secured thanks to the successful “One Company” strategy, which allows Implenia to offer comprehensive customer solutions from a single source.
In response to continued healthy demand for premises in the region, Swiss Prime Site is building a new commercial and office complex, plus logistics site, in the Plan-Les-Ouates Industrial Zone (ZIPLO). Implenia, acting as total contractor, is constructing the five buildings at “Espace Tourbillon”, all of which were designed by architects Brodbeck-Roulet. The project is creating a total of around 95,000 m2 of mixed-use rental space. The commercial and office complex will also have an underground logistics network that directly links up all the buildings, ensuring safe, efficient distribution of goods throughout the site. The project gives Implenia Group a chance to deploy its expertise in various disciplines (building construction, civil works and foundation engineering), and to use Building Information Modelling (BIM).
