Spitallamm dam on the Grimsel
A new double-curved arch dam will be built on the Grimsel Pass directly in front of the existing wall. The old dam will remain in place and will be dammed on both sides. Great respect is due to the entire team working on this impressive project on the road over the Grimsel Pass at an altitude of between around 1,650 m above sea level (Gerstenegg) and 1,980 m above sea level (Grimsel Hospiz).
