Significant new general contracting order acquired in Meyrin (GE)
Dietlikon, 22 July 2015 – A new hotel and commercial development is to be built at Route de la Bergère 1A in the town of Meyrin, Canton Geneva. The project is located opposite the Richemont site and the Zimeysa train station, which is currently being renovated and expanded. The project owner, Compagnie des Parcs, has given Implenia the general contracting mandate to build the complex, which will have a floor area of 30,000 m2. Designed by De Giuli & Portier Architectes SA, the project includes a premium three-star hotel built around a central atrium with a 500 m2 glass frontage. There will also be commercial units and an underground car park with 300 spaces. The energy-efficient building will meet the standard of the “Minergie” label. It will be ready for future tenants by 2018, after only 26 months of construction work starting in 2016. Compagnie des Parcs is pleased to work together with Implenia: "We chose Implenia as our general contractor because it has the technical and logistical know-how to make this forward-looking project a successful reality."
