Implenia to modernise UBS headquarters in Zurich
Dietlikon, 18December 2015 – Implenia has been commissioned by UBS AG to restore and refurbish its headquarters in Zurich. Acting as total contractor, Implenia is completely renovating the existing building complex and adapting it to future customer and user requirements. With the renovation, UBS AG wants to enhance its head office's impact on the surrounding area and meet modern energy-efficiency standards. The first phase of the project involves refurbishing the buildings at Bahnhofstrasse 45 and 47 and at Pelikanstrasse 5 and 9a. The whole property is being restored in accordance with the strict LEED Platinum Standard to fulfil the owner's ambitious sustainability aims. Construction work starts in January 2016 and continues until the second half of 2018.
