Hans-Ulrich Meister proposed for election as new Member and Chairman of Implenia’s Board of Directors
Dietlikon, 8 February 2016 – Implenia Ltd.’s Board of Directors is proposing to the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders of 22 March 2016 that it elect Hans-Ulrich Meister as a new Member and Chairman of the Board of Directors. Hans Ulrich Meister has an outstanding knowledge of the Swiss economy and an excellent network of contacts in Switzerland and abroad. Thanks to his many years working at the top of the two major Swiss banks UBS and Credit Suisse, he has extensive financial expertise. He was CEO of Credit Suisse Switzerland and Head of the globally active Private Banking & Wealth Management Division. In these roles he was also a Member of the Executive Board of Credit Suisse Group AG and Credit Suisse AG. Implenia’s Board of Directors is delighted to have found a candidate as experienced and dynamic as Hans-Ulrich Meister. His leadership skills will contribute greatly to the positive development of Implenia in Switzerland and its European home markets.

CV Hans Ulrich Meister (born 1959, Swiss citizen)
Hans Ulrich Meister was CEO of the Switzerland Region at Credit Suisse from 2008. From 2011 he was also CEO of the Private Banking Division and from 2012 Head of the Private Banking & Wealth Management Division, responsible for the private banking business in EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) and Asia Pacific. In these roles he was also a Member of the Executive Boards of Credit Suisse Group AG and Credit Suisse AG. Before being appointed CEO of Credit Suisse Switzerland, Hans-Ulrich Meister worked for UBS for more than 20 years, most recently (from 2005 to 2007) as Head of Private & Business Banking for UBS in Switzerland and as a member of the UBS Group Managing Board. Prior to that, he was responsible for the Large Corporates & Multinationals business area. In 2002, Mr. Meister worked for Wealth Management USA at UBS in New York. Hans-Ulrich Meister is a graduate of the University of Applied Sciences in Business Administration Zurich. He has also completed Advanced Management Programs at the Wharton School and Harvard Business School.
