Growth ambitions in Norway confirmed
Dietlikon, 16 August 2012 – Implenia has signed an agreement with Norwegian tunnelling specialist Mesta for the acquisition of tunnelling machinery. It also has the option to make job offers to employees of Mesta. So far, more than 30 specialists have been hired by Implenia. These employees will be lent back to Mesta for the completion of the “E16 Borlaug” road construction project.
The agreement enhances Implenia Norge’s expertise and underscores Implenia’s ambitions to grow in the Norwegian infrastructure market. Well-qualified professionals are vital if the company is to handle the numerous contracts it has won in Norway, and the newly hired employees will help meet this need.
