Buildings Division
The Buildings division offers the integrated development, planning and execution of complex new construction and conversion projects with a focus on innovative and economical solutions as well as a partnership-based approach.
The range of services covers the entire value chain and extends from the initial analysis and planning stages - often before the contract is signed - through to the turnkey building or site. Implenia is one of the leading real estate developers in Switzerland and also has a significant market position as a general and total contractor in the core markets of Switzerland and Germany.
Civil Engineering Division
The Civil Engineering division offers tunnel construction, specialist foundation engineering, civil engineering and road construction.
The range of services extends from the planning of specific special solutions to the holistic realization of demanding, complex and hybrid infrastructure projects. The use of the latest construction methods and processes, such as BIM and lean construction, is becoming increasingly important. Implenia has a leading position in Switzerland and Germany in all these areas. Implenia is also active in tunnelling and related services in other international markets.

Strategic priorities to strengthen competitiveness
To realise its vision, implement its mission and use its strengths to exploit opportunities in the markets, Implenia is pursuing a strategy with four priorities: "Portfolio", "Innovation", "Profitable Growth" and "Talent & Organization". In the current "Fit for Growth" phase, Implenia intends to use this as a basis for further strengthening, sustainable and profitable growth by improving and expanding its existing business and developing new business opportunities - both organic and inorganic.
