Indicators
We assess the effects of our work by checking various indicators in priority areas, and develop new measures accordingly. This dashboard provides an overview of Implenia’s sustainability indicators.
GRI 2-4
In summer 2022, we used an updated methodology to recalculate our CO2 footprint for 2020 and establish a new baseline for our 2025 sustainability goals. The new method was also used to calculate the 2021 footprint, but it has not been applied to historical data from before the new base year of 2020.
Footprints from 2020 onwards now cover all our markets and all energy sources. The following emission factors were used uniformly: Scope 1 = Defra, Scope 2 = IEA (electricity) & GaBi (district heating). This resulted in overall higher emissions than the old methodology, which omitted France and some other sites and energy sources.
