Sheet pile wall
Sheet piling as excavation shoring or for enclosing contaminated sites has been tried and tested for a long time. They are also used in flood protection, harbour and canal construction, for permanent retaining walls and bridge foundations.
Sheet piling
Steel sheet piling was first used at the end of the 19th century. The Bremen state master builder Tryggve Larssen is listed as the inventor. To obtain a watertight bond, the interlocks can be fitted with sealing elements or welded.
