Johannisallee residential complex
Short description
Implenia is building a new turnkey sustainable housing estate in Leipzig for regular customer LWB.
The project
As part of a joint venture, Implenia is building a housing estate consisting of nine connected properties with 202 apartments for the municipal company LWB (Leipziger Wohnungs- und Baugesellschaft mbH) in Leipzig near the university and Bayerischer Bahnhof. Two commercial units and additional premises for neighborhood work are also being built.
Services in detail
Implenia's services include planning (LPH 5), development and turnkey construction of the buildings and outdoor facilities. Construction began in January 2025 and is scheduled for completion in April 2027. More than half of the apartments (104) will be subsidized by the Free State of Saxony.
All apartments have a balcony, loggia or terrace. The seven- to eight-storey buildings will contain 1- to 5-room apartments.
Sustainability
The properties are planned and realized as low-energy buildings, Efficiency House 55 standard. The roofs are greened and are partly used as roof gardens and equipped with large-scale photovoltaic systems.
