Short description

Densification in Berlin: Typical houses for Pankow.

The project

Implenia has been commissioned by the municipal housing association Gesobau AG to construct two residential buildings in Berlin-Pankow as so-called type houses.

Implenia has concluded a framework agreement with Gesobau for the planning and construction of standardized residential buildings at various locations in Berlin. For this purpose, the “Standard-Typenhaus Punkt” was developed, which meets the requirements for cost-effective residential construction regardless of location. The basic type includes the option of “stretching” or “doubling” the floor plans. Individual residential buildings or building ensembles can be realized according to the planning catalog.

Services in detail

On the basis of the framework agreement, the client has commissioned the turnkey, functional, officially approved and ready-to-occupy construction of a standard and an extended type house for Berlin-Pankow. In each case, 76 apartments with balconies or terraces including basement boxes are being built on eight floors.

Sustainability

The building is built to KfW55 standard.

Further information

As part of the Urban Development Plan Housing 2030, the houses are intended to contribute to improving the tight situation on the housing market.
