Short description
Implenia is building an architecturally sophisticated and climate-neutral administration center.
The project
Implenia Hochbau is building a new turnkey administration center for around 700 employees and a multi-storey parking lot on the listed Beelitz-Heilstätten site for the district of Potsdam-Mittelmark as the technical leader in a consortium.
Services in detail
Office space, a service center, examination and laboratory areas, conference rooms, a restaurant, sports and exercise rooms, storage and a service yard, a 6.5-level multi-storey parking lot and outdoor facilities will be built to the highest ecological standards.
Challenges
The ceilings of the new building will be constructed partly in wood hybrid construction, a sophisticated architecture in floor plans and facades and a very high-quality interior fit-out including building services are to be realized in a demanding construction period. Climate-neutral operation for 50 years in accordance with the DGNB assessment must be achieved.
Sustainability
Upon completion, the construction project is to be certified with the DGNB Platinum 2023 seal and the "Sustainable Building Quality Seal" (QNG Plus). Some of the requirements to be implemented go beyond the recognized rules of technology; particular emphasis is placed on the life cycle assessment of the building and the high requirements for the absence of harmful substances in the construction products. The construction process, the handling of the construction site including waste disposal must be implemented in accordance with DGNB Platinum specifications. At least 50 percent of all materials must consist of recycled materials.
