Topgolf
Short description
Implenia Hochbau builds first Topgolf facility in continental Europe in Oberhausen.
The project
On the site of a former steelworks in Oberhausen, Implenia is planning and building a turnkey leisure facility with a total usable area of around 30,000 square meters for top golf licensee Greenreb. The facility includes a three-storey building with a restaurant and three bars, 102 serviced tees with full service, a 200-meter-long outdoor field and more than 500 parking spaces for guests.
Innovative project concept as a European pilot
The disused industrial site in the immediate vicinity of Centro Oberhausen offers a site area of around 40,000 m². The new Topgolf facility, an innovative sports and leisure facility, is the first of its kind in continental Europe. The facility offers a mixture of entertainment, sport, music, gastronomy and events. The concept will be realized in the Ruhr area as a market entry in Europe.
Services in detail
The project order was preceded by a partnership phase in which Implenia prepared the design and approval planning on the basis of American planning. The so-called design-and-build concept is characterized by structural optimizations during the planning phase as well as new, innovative concepts and proposed solutions across all service phases.
Implenia completed the building shell in just 15 weeks.
