ThyssenKrupp district
Short description
Successful completion of the third construction project in Essen for ThyssenKrupp AG.
The project
The Buildings branch in Essen successfully completed its third construction project for ThyssenKrupp AG in Essen. The three office buildings Q6, 8 and 10 complete the company campus. They have been built in the style of the corporate architecture developed by the architects in-house.
A particular architectural highlight is the large façades with their two-layered appearance, consisting of an element façade that provides the structure, with floor-to-ceiling windows and glazed ventilation shutters. The office buildings are divided into units of 400 m² and can easily be adapted to changing usage requirements. The infrastructure of the technical building services is based on the high standards that were defined for the first construction phase, offering high comfort at a low cost.
The infrastructure of the technical building services is based on the high standards that were defined for the first construction phase. A centralised cooling supply, cooling ceilings in the offices, and room temperatures that can be controlled by users via telephone offer high comfort at a low cost.
