TAMI V
Short description
Sustainable office quarter with lots of greenery all around - Implenia is building the TAMI V office building in the Schwarzbach quarter in Ratingen.
The project
In one of the largest construction pits in NRW, the Schwarzbach-Quartier in Ratingen, an office quarter with a high proportion of green space is being built. Implenia is building the TAMI V office building not far from Düsseldorf Airport and directly next to the Ost railway station. The Essen branch is erecting the shell for Pro Investa Projektentwicklung.
TAMI V marks the start of the new development of the area. The shell will be completed in summer 2020 after a construction period of twelve months.
The former industrial site in the east of Ratingen is to be transformed into a state-of-the-art and, above all, green office district over the next few years. Up to 3,000 new jobs could be created on the former Balcke-Dürr site.
Services in detail
Five upper floors will be built on three basement levels with an underground car park for 520 vehicles. In total, 39,100 square metres of gross floor space will be created. Tenants for the building have also already been found. The international medical technology company Boston Scientific will move into the completed building with its 180-strong German team.
Sustainability
The office quarter will have a green and open space component of 50 per cent of the site area. All buildings and the quarter as a whole are to be certified according to the international LEED Gold standard.
