Short description

Implenia is building a residential complex in Leipzig-Zentrum Süd with 65 apartments for a wide variety of residential users.

The project

Leipziger Wohnungs- und Baugesellschaft mbH LWB has commissioned Implenia to build a turnkey residential complex with four apartment buildings and 65 residential units, including outdoor facilities, in Leipzig's southern city center.

Services in detail

65 two- to four-room apartments have been created in four buildings. Half of them are subsidized by the Free State of Saxony as part of the guideline for subsidized rental housing and are therefore "reserved" for a basic rent of EUR 6.50 per square metre for holders of a white certificate of eligibility for housing.

The new ensemble has excellent public transport connections and stands for sustainable living. Various climate-friendly solutions have been implemented. These include green roofs and façades. In addition, photovoltaic systems were installed on the roofs and spaces for urban gardening were provided in the inner courtyard.

Challenges

The buildings are planned and constructed to the Efficiency House 55 standard.
