The project
The Motel One Basel is the first hotel from the German hotel chain Motel One in Switzerland. An existing building containing offices and commercial premises was completely renovated and converted into a hotel with 143 rooms. With a total volume of 23,000 m3, the building stretches over two basement levels, a ground floor, four upper floors and a penthouse floor. The property is located on Barfüsserplatz in the heart of Basel.
Thanks to lean construction and close cooperation, we were able to hand over the building on schedule and in perfect condition. The decision-making processes were tailored optimally to the construction time and the requirements of the operator.
