The project

The architecture of the new building in Munich is tailored to the customer's corporate design and reflects its core values. The high-grade aluminium and glass façade and the open space concept in the interior demonstrate openness and transparency.

Once again, the client MAN requested a number of services, including work for the new MAN forum in Munich, the creation of several service stations nationwide, the new technology centre at the company's headquarters, and a production plant for heavy MAN trucks in the Polish town of Niepołomice near Kraków.

Services in detail

The Munich branch provided a new office building for the customer, as well as a service academy with two training buildings where employees are trained in special workshop services and management skills. The economically efficient quote for turnkey execution saw off the competition. Despite the plans being largely fixed on the basis of the MAN AG corporate design, savings potentials were identified and realised in numerous aspects of the construction work and subsequent operation.

Challenges

All the proposed optimisations were based on the principle of sustainable resource usage. Material consumption was carefully adjusted and significant quantities of costly insulation materials were saved without detriment to the overall energy efficiency.
