Short description

Implenia is planning, building and financing the construction of a new elementary school to QNG PLUS standard in the Saale-Holzland district.

The project

Implenia is planning, building and financing the turnkey construction of a new 2.5-form entry elementary school for 300 pupils in Stadtroda in Thuringia.

An economic feasibility study for the "Milo Barus" elementary school in Stadtroda showed that a new building would be significantly more economical than refurbishment. The new building will be constructed on the basis of the functional specifications - similar to the Bürgel community school, which Implenia completed for the district in 2019.

Services in detail

The design concept is based on a cluster solution for the individual year groups. In addition, the canteen, kitchen, after-school care center and workroom will be integrated into the building.

The demolition of the existing school and the complete construction of the outdoor facilities are part of the planning and execution. The scope of services also includes maintenance within the extended warranty period, including the adjustment of the technical systems.

Sustainability

Commissioning is planned for 2026. The new building will be constructed and certified in accordance with the particularly sustainable criteria of the QNG Plus seal.
