Fraport Terminal 3,1. BA

Short description

In the Rhine-Main metropolitan region, the new Terminal 3 is being built at Frankfurt Airport Fraport, with high-quality metal and glass facades from Implenia Fassadentechnik.

The project

As part of the expansion of Frankfurt Airport to include Terminal 3, Implenia Fassadentechnik is carrying out the facade work for the first construction phase. The building owner and client is Fraport Ausbau Süd GmbH.

Having already been awarded the contract for the new Fire Station 3 at Fraport in 2018 and looking back on a very good cooperation so far, we are pleased to be able to execute a follow-up contract at the airport with a value of approximately EUR 10.7 million.

The project is accompanied by the architects Wenzel + Wenzel from Frankfurt and the façade consultant Werner Sobek from Stuttgart.

Services in detail

Our services include the construction of mullion and transom facades, perforated and ribbon windows as well as doors, some of which have increased security requirements.
