Business Parc, Prilly

Short description

On the former site of the Bobst company, now based in Mex (VD), this disused industrial area in Prilly is coming back to life. At the crossroads of Route de Renens and Route des Flumeaux, the project has a special role to play thanks to its strategic, highly visible location, as its presence heralds the regeneration of this entire district.

The project

The building consists of five storeys on the first floor, i.e. six levels above ground and three underground levels housing parking spaces and storage rooms. The gross floor area is over 24,000^m2.

Services in detail

The upper five floors are intended for a fitness center, a medical center and administrative space. The Coop is located on the first floor, which is entirely occupied by a 2,000^m2 shopping center. On the other hand, the construction of the neighboring building ''Flumeaux 41'' adds its parking lot to the program via a tunnel connected to the ramp of the Business Parc. The main entrance, directly accessible from the Route de Renens, leads to the stores, the entrance at the back of the building serves the fitness center and the medical center, and the four sides of the building provide access to the offices. These 14,000^m2 of multi-purpose rental space are being built in parallel with the construction of apartments in the neighborhood, which will soon house hundreds of new residents. This projection conceived by the architects has influenced the urban role of the project, whose accesses and pedestrian walkways radiate in all directions and also anticipate the future circulation of cars, public transport and soft mobility in the area.
