Transportation of steel plates / drive-over plates

Dear colleagues

A steel base plate recently fell from a unit during transportation. Fortunately, no one was injured.
When moving steel plates with a crane, several attachment points on one plate broke. The plate therefore fell to the ground from a great height. Fortunately, no one was injured.
Please discuss the safety alert in the appendix and act accordingly. Special attention must always be paid to the transportation of such floor slabs. Other issues include the condition and systematic inspection of the slings.
