Transaction successfully closed: Bilfinger Construction now part of Implenia Group
Dietlikon, 2 March 2015 –Following the successful closing of the transaction, Bilfinger Construction is from today part of the Implenia Group. The acquisition, announced at the end of December 2014, has been approved by all the relevant competition authorities. Bilfinger Construction generated production output of around EUR 650 million in 2014 and has approximately 1900 employees. As part of the current integration process, an internal multi-disciplinary team is working to bring together the best of both companies. The aim is to define the vision, strategy and new structures within 100 days of the closing date, i.e. by the end of May 2015.
