Implenia wins two new TC mandates in French-speaking Switzerland worth a total of around CHF 140 million

All of the Group's capabilities bundled together in the “One Company” model: services from a single source and greater quality for the customer

Dietlikon, 15 December 2015 – Implenia has won two major building construction contracts in the French-speaking part of Switzerland. For both of them the company has been asked to act as total contractor. Together the two orders are worth around CHF 140 million.

In Geneva, Implenia is building offices that will in future house the “Campus Santé” and the Global Fund, an organisation created by the G8 states in 2002 to fight AIDS, malaria and tuberculosis. The Global Fund finances national action against the three serious infectious diseases and helps to strengthen health systems. Working on behalf of CSF Real Estate Switzerland Commercial, an investment group within the Credit Suisse Investment Foundation, Implenia, as total contractor, is constructing the new office building, which will offer 25,500 m2 of floorspace and two basement levels. Minergie certification is being sought for the building. Work began at the beginning of November 2015 and completion is scheduled for the end of 2017.

In Payerne, Implenia is building the new headquarters of Boschung, a respected Swiss machinery group, including a technology centre, on the Aéropol site. Production workshops, offices, a staff restaurant, an information centre and a showroom are all being built on an area of around 10,000 m2. The innovation and business park Aéropol is situated in the immediate vicinity of Payerne military airport, which has also been used for civilian flights since 1998. Work begins in January 2016 and should last until July 2017.

Implenia will be focusing even more in future on its “One Company” model. This is where the Group bundles the expertise of its specialists from different disciplines in order to give its customers integrated solutions from a single source. For the Global Fund project in Geneva, for example, specialists from Project Development, Building Construction, Civil Works and Foundation Engineering are all working together in a joint project team. With the “One Company” approach, the customer benefits from improved execution quality and a single point of contact for all relevant topics connected to the creation of its property.
